DIUS 337 - Abdominal Sonography II

Includes in-depth pathophysiology of the abdominal vasculature, liver, biliary system, kidneys, spleen, pancreas, adrenal glands, breast, thyroid and parotid glands, retroperitoneum, make and female pelvis. Includes normal & abnormal ultrasound appearances & Doppler techniques. Hands-on labs allow students to obtain scanning skills and learn instrumentation. Prerequisite: DIUS 331, Corequisite: DIUS 341.
