DIUS 361 - Echocardiography III

Continued discussions of advanced hemodynamics in the evaluation of valvular lesions and left ventricular dysfunction in the adult population. Introduction to the detection of cardiovascular disease in the pediatric population. Innovative sonographic modalities will also be discussed. Continued discussion of the use of grayscale and Doppler sonography in the evaluation of the heart and the correlation with non-sonographic testing modalities. Prerequisite: DIUS 360, Co-requisite: DIUS 343. (spring)
