THRS 311 - Latin American Liberation Theology

This course will examine the subject and method of Latin American liberation theology, which offers a dynamic approach to the issues of faith, human freedom, and liberation. This course explores and deepens our understanding of human choice, evil, salvation, from the lived faith experience in Latin America. It examines the oppression and exploitation that characterize Latin America, both past and present, and considers the challenges liberation theologians pose to all Christians
