PHYS 106 - Waves, Sound, Electricity and Magnetism5 Continuation of the non-calculus survey of introductory physics. Topics covered include fluids; simple harmonic motion; mechanical waves and sound; electric charge, field, and potential; electric energy and capacitance; electric current and resistance; magnetic fields and electromagnetic induction. Course includes laboratory component. Prerequisite: PHYS 105 (winter).
