MLSC 101 - Foundations of Leadership2 Introduces students to issues and competencies that are central to a leader’s responsibilities, establishing a framework for understanding leadership, ethics, and values. The course addresses personal development through life skills training in fitness and time management. Students will develop their own unique leadership style through support of the Seattle University Children’s Literacy Project. Students apply, practice, and experience leadership principles in a service-learning environment by forming and leading a non-profit corporation for the purpose of providing tutoring services to local community elementary and middle schools. Students participate in regular reflection exercises and 360 degree leadership feedback geared toward personal and team leadership development
