BIOL 161 - Biology I: Molecular and Cellular Biology

Survey of the biological world, concepts and principles. I) cell biology, metabolism, respiration, photosynthesis, genetics and molecular biology. Four lectures per week. Prerequisite: high school chemistry and placement into MATH 120 or higher. Co-requisite: BIOL 171. (fall, winter)
