ART 240 - Painting I

Introduction to elements and principles of painting, color theory, and contemporary art as an introduction for visual art. Execution of specific painting projects, individual and group critiques, creative thinnking exercises to increase visual awareness, reflective writing, and attendance at local galleries and museums. Fulfills fine arts core requirement.
