NURS 2354 - Nursing Care of Adults I - Theory

3 credit hours
Focus on holistic nursing care of adult clients experiencing acute physiological alterations in health. Course explores the physiological and psychosocial factors that contribute to the development of altered health states as well as their impact on clients, families, and communities. Examines the trajectory of illness, focusing on chronic illness, within a framework of health promotion and disease prevention.

Prerequisite Course(s): All required nursing courses numbered 3205 through 3191
