FILM 4510 - Seminar: Great Directors

A study of one of the major directors in the history of film, one distinguished by his or her artistry as well as the influence upon other directors, crtiics, and the viewing audience. Directors that might be treated include Woody Allen, Michelangelo Antonioni, Francois Truffaut, Jean-Luc Goddard, Alain Renais, Vittorio di Sica, Lena Wertmuller, Jean Renior, Billy Wilder, Frank Capra, Pedro Almodovar and Werner Herzog.
