PHIL 1000 - Origins of Philosophy

5 credit hours
Introduces the methods and some of the fundamental questions of the discipline of philosophy. Helps students develop skills in logical argumentation and analytic writing. Themes that may structure the course include: appearance and reality, the problem of evil, death and dying, love and friendship, the examined life, art and nature.
