PSYC 3440 - Cognitive Psychology5 credit hours Formerly - PSYC 344 Cognitive psychology is the study of internal mental processes. We explore the problems cognitive psychologists study and the methods they use to study them. We consider the theories of how people perceive, remember, think, speak, and solve problems, and the data that support these models. We also consider the development of cognition and how cognition impacts our daily lives.
