Formerly - MATH 141
Descriptive statistics; probability distributions; hypothesis testing; estimation; linear regression; applications to life sciences. The course will include use of computer software. Core mathematics option.

Prerequisite Course(s): a grade of C- or better in either MATH 1010 (formerly MATH 118/1120) or MATH 1021 (formerly MATH 120/1321), or a satisfactory score on SAT or ACT or the Mathematics Placement Exam
