An investigation into contemporary debates over social justice through the study of applied moral theory and political philosophy. The course aims to give students analytical tools for assessing opposing viewpoints on a variety of topics. In recent years, these have included affirmative action, racial profiling, abortion, immigration, humanitarian intervention, and climate change.
