BIOL 1611 - Biology Lab I1 credit hour Formerly - BIOL 171 In addition to illustrating the material from the lecture sessions, the laboratory sessions in the series are an introduction to basic laboratory procedures and practices for scientific inquiry. Students will work on developing observational skills, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, experimental design, and presentation of experimental results. Three hours per week.
Prerequisite Course(s): high school chemistry and placement into MATH 1021 or higher Co-requisite Course(s): BIOL 1610 Terms Typically Offered: Fall, Winter
