STMC 5601 - Clinical Extension

The clinical sequence provides basic experience and training in couples and family therapy. Students will be at a clinical site 14-18 hours per week as they advance through at least six quarters of training. In addition to face-to-face client contact and other onsite clinical work, students will meet at least one hour a week in individual supervision. Class time will be composed of faculty led group supervision. This class is an extension of the clinical sequence and its requirements. The course is intended for students who after enrolling in STMC 5600 have not completed their required clinical and supervision hours and requires approval of the director.
