Formerly - STMM 571
In this course, students gain experience and theoretical understanding in the art and practice of spiritual direction. Particular attention will be paid to the development of evocative and contemplative listening skills. This required course must be completed before students are admitted into the spiritual direction track. Students will engage in discernment processes throughout the quarter regarding their gifts and readiness for entering a supervised practicum. An interview with instructor at the conclusion of the course affirms the discernment process.
