STMM 5690 - The Human Person and the Discovery of Meaning3 credit hours Formerly - STMM 569 Students explore what it is to be human in this course. Identifying how various philosophies, theologies, and cultures create systems of meaning-making. Students name their own values and the impact of those values on their lives, their relationships, and their world. Further, students explore how symbols, metaphors, and rituals shape them and others in processes of creating collective understanding.
