STMC 5680 - Research Methods

This class focuses on understanding the foundations of qualitative and quantitative methodology as it relates to couples and family therapy. Students will demonstrate the ability to read, interpret, and conduct research. This course will support students in understanding and critiquing published research, analyzing for best practice and outcomes based clinical intervention in couples and family therapy. Students will apply their understanding of numeric and non-numeric research methods through team work and writing a research proposal.
