COUN 5170 - Group Counseling Theories and Practice4 credit hours Formerly - COUN 517 Emphasizes group counseling theory and provides an experiential component to integrate theory and practice. The course will examine application of group dynamics in school, post secondary, mental health and addiction treatment settings; and discuss ethical considerations. Processes and techniques relevant to the recovery model will be included.
