THRS 2130 - Science and the Church

Examination of the intersection of the development of science and the Church, in particular, the theological stakes ivolved in the contextual intersection of the development of modern science and the response of the Catholic Church. Exploration of the development of key theological concepts in light of insights and challenges posed by a modern scientific understanding of the natural world.
