The tools of Social Media have created an unprecedented opportunity to know and see what is going on in every corner of the world. How can these tools be used to educate and stimulate engagement on issues of global justice? In this class, global citizenship skills will be cultivated through the exploration and application of social media (web-based networking) technologies. Students will increase their knowledge of international education and humanitarian work; and gain hands-on experience in project design and execution, leadership, marketing/communications, and use of new social media tools.
