PSYC 4270 - Introduction to Counseling

Formerly - PSYC 427
Basic theory, principles and dynamics of the counselor-client relationship and the counseling process. This course’s approach is largely discussion-based and we will also spend much of our time doing experiential in-class exercises which focus on developing fundamental listening skills. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
