PSYC 2150 - Abnormal Psychology5 credit hours Formerly - PSYC 215 Study of standard topics, models and schools of thought in abnormal psychology.
Diagnosis, treatment and biopsychosocial factors leading to psychological disturbance, as well as consideration of how one comes to a genuine, empathetic appreciation for the personal experience of mental illness. Cultural and historical contexts are also considered.
