PHYS 3300 - Electromagnetic Field Theory5 credit hours Formerly - PHYS 330 The theory of electromagnetism using vector calculus for students of physics and electrical engineering. Topics covered include static electric and magnetic fields in vacuum and linear isotropic media; time-varying fields and Maxwell’s equations; the wave equation and boundary conditions; propagation of electromagnetic waves in non-conducting media.
