MUSC 2500 - Music Theory III2 credit hours Formerly - MUSC 250 First course in the second year of music theory. The second-year theory sequence will cover the harmonic style of the later 19th century: study of irregular resolutions, modulation to remote keys, diminished 7th chords, 9th, 11th and 13th chords, non-dominant 7th chords, chromatically altered chords and analysis of appropriate 19th century literature.
