HIST 3170 - Community and Conflict in Europe since 19455 credit hours Formerly - HIST 317 The first part of this course examines international relations in Europe since the end of World War II, particularly the Cold War and the European Community. The second half investigates how political and social movements have shaped European identity. Of special interest are questions of immigration and racism, the student movements of the ‘60s and the terrorism of the ‘70s and ‘80s.
