FINC 3440 - Investments5 credit hours Formerly - FINC 344 An introduction to financial investments: the theory, practice and empirical research. Emphasis is placed on developing the risk/return relationship. Topics include modern portfolio theory, (CAPM, APT) market efficiency, derivative assets (options, futures), the pricing of contingent claims, and the influence of taxes and inflation.
Prerequisite Course/s: At least a B- (2.7) in FINC 3400, ECON 3100
