CRJS 4300 - Criminal Justice Organizations5 credit hours Formerly - CRJS 430 Organizational analysis of criminal justice agencies. Study of organizational theory as it applies to police, courts, and corrections. Focus on ethics, discretion, and decisionmaking at different stages of the criminal justice process with attention to individual-organizational-sociocultural dynamics. Topics include: Police deviance, the courtroom work group, and private/public correctional subcultures. Required for all criminal justice majors.
