SOCW 5630 - Advanced Practice III: Clinical Social Work with Groups

This course builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills of group work, and prepares students for advanced clinical group practice. The course will provide skills and knowledge to work with clients with a pertinent clinical issue in a treatment group setting, such as trauma-focused group treatment for children/adults. Advanced Practice III is the third course in a 3-course clinical social work practice sequence building upon the competencies students gained in the foundation curriculum. Required.
