SOCW 5530 - Advanced Field Practicum III3 credit hours
This course is the third of the 3-course sequence, Advanced Field Practicum, for students who are accepted into the Advanced Standing MSW Program and for students who are in the second year of their MSW program. This practicum course is designed to provide advanced learning and practice in settings that will deepen knowledge and skill in advanced clinical social work practice under the instruction of an agency-based social work supervision. Students will complete 24 agency hours per week/240 quarterly hours toward the total of 720 agency hours during this 3-quarter sequenced practicum. In addition, students may meet twice each quarter, on campus, to continue peer consulting groups. Required.
