INST 3410 - Women and Leadership in Latin America

5 credit hours
Interdisciplinary study of contemporary Latin America with a focus on women’s civil society and political leadership in El Salvador, Chile, and Argentina. Emphasis on the cultural, historical, political, and economic roots of the phenomenon. This course attempts to move beyond the study of aggregates to know how women leaders live and work through multiple texts.
