CEEGR 5120 - Earthquake Engineering

Introduction to earthquake engineering analysis and design of structures. Topics include: 1) elastic single degree of freedom systems, 2) ground motion characterization, 3) response spectra, 4) inelastic single degree of freedom systems, 5) multi-degree of freedom systems, 6) base shear capacity of building structures, and 7) code-based seismic design.
