Limits; rate of change; derivatives, basic differentiation formulas, extrema; the definite integral. Applications to the life and social sciences. Graphing calculator required. Core mathematics option. Co-requisite: MATH 1322 (formerly MATH 121), unless exempted by qualifying examination.

Prerequisite Course/s: a grade of C- or better in MATH 1120 (formerly MATH 118) or MATH 1321 (formerly MATH 120) or satisfactory score on SAT or ACT or the Mathematics Placement Exam
