CLBR 087 - Academic Reading and Writing

The class meets daily and focuses on the interaction between reading, writing, and critical thinking. Paraphrasing, summary writing, library research, and the writing process as it pertains to American academic writing, as well as effective reading are examined. Issues of sentence structure and style are also addressed.5
