PHYS 205 - Introduction to Quantum Physics An introduction to quantum mechanics for students of science and engineering. Topics covered include evidence for the quantization of light, matter, and energy; the wave nature of matter; the Bohr model of the atom; wave-particle duality; the uncertainty principle; the Schrodinger equation and its applications; the Pauli exclusion principle and the periodic table of the elements.
