ANTH 338 - Culture, Ecology and Geography


This course explores the cultural and ecological aspects of the relationship between human beings and their physical environments. Special attention is given to case studies of human- environment interactions in the Pacific Northwest, including indigenous (native) relationships to the natural environment and contemporary discussions of sustainability, consumption, environmental education, ethics and agriculture aspects of the relationship between human beings and their physical environments.
