ARTD 475 - Digital Media III: Motion Graphics

5 credit hours

Designed to introduce students to working with video, sound, and animation for artistic creations. Students will study the history of video art, animation, and electronic music for perspective and inspiration and will create works in each medium using Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, and Motion. Projects will be presented that develop software skills, although the primary focus will be on the artistic use of the tools of the medium rather than pure practical application. Prerequisite: ARTD 375 or permission of instructor.
