THRS 320 - Catholic Social Teaching

This course examines the dynamic relationships between the gospel messages of peace and justice, love and liberation, and contemporary social and political issues. We will emphasize the general frameworks of social analysis and will utilize the biblical accounts of the Judeo-Christian communities and the tradition of Catholic Social Teachings. The basic component of this tradition is the question of social justice in pursuit of the common good
