MATH 412 - Introduction to Abstract Algebra II5 credit hours
An in-depth look at the theory of rings and fields, including integral domains, factor rings, homomorphism theorems, polynomial rings, vector spaces, extension fields, finite fields, Galois Theory, and special topics. Prerequisite: a grade of C or better in MATH 411. (winter of odd years)
