An axiomatic approach to finite geometries and basic Euclidean geometry; straight-edge and compass constructions; problems of antiquity; special topics in Euclidean geometry. Geometric transformations, the fifth postulate and non-Euclidean geometries. Prerequisite or co-requisite: MATH 310. (spring of odd years)
