MATH 141 - Statistics for Life Sciences

5 credit hours
Descriptive statistics; probability distributions; hypothesis testing; estimation; linear regression; applications to life sciences. The course will include use of computer software. Core mathematics option.  Prerequisite: a grade of C- or better in MATH 118 or MATH 120 or satisfactory score on SAT or ACT or the Mathematics Placement Exam. (fall)
