Examines the relationship between children and the natural world from multiple perspectives. Topics include the significance of this relationship in child development, historical changes and contemporary concerns regarding the relationship, and the development of recommendations for improving child-nature relations. Implications for environmental sustainability and environmental education will be highlighted. Core interdisciplinary option.
