CEEGR 335 - Applied Hydraulics

Extension and application of fluid mechanics principles with laboratory. Pipes in series and in parallel. Branching pipes and pipe networks. Pipeline system curves. Basic hydraulic machinery. Analysis of pumping systems. Basic open channel flow. Backwater analysis. Culverts. Three lecture hours and one three-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisite: CEEGR 331. (winter)
