BIOL 318 - Genomics5 credit hours
The study of how large data sets from biology, molecular biology and protein biochemistry are used to understand how biological processes function. Integration of computer science and natural sciences is stressed. Three lecture hours combined with computer laboratory per week. Prerequisites: BIOL 161/171, BIOL 162/172, BIOL 163/173 (all with C- or better) and BIOL 240. CHEM 123/133. (fall)
