ANTH 120 - Anthropological Perspectives

5 credit hours
What does it mean to be human? This course introduces students to anthropological perspectives for studying human behavior and culture. The holistic approach includes the four interconnected fields of anthropology: biological/physical anthropology, cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology and archaeology. The four fields ask and answer questions about our prehistory, our variation, our primate cousins, and our societies and cultures - past and present. Core option: Social Science I introduces students to anthropological perspectives for studying human behavior and culture.
