BIOL 285 - Biotechnology4 credit hours
Approaches in biotechnology, including recombinant DNA techniques, protein analyses, and computational tools for data analysis. This class is the initial core course for the major in Cell and Molecular Biology. Prerequisites: BIOL 161/171, 162/172, 163/173 (all with C- or better); BIOL 240 (with C+ or better); CHEM 123/133; Biology Major GPA of at least 2.8. Corequisite: BIOL 286.
