PHYS 105 - Mechanics5 credit hours A non-calculus survey of classical mechanics. Topics covered include kinematics in one and two dimensions; dynamics, Newton’s laws and gravitation; work and energy; momentum, rotational motion, and equilibrium. Course includes laboratory component. Prerequisites: MATH 120, MATH 121, or equivalent.
