PSYC 305 - Statistics and Research Methods II5 credit hours A continuation of PSYC 303, including the application of research methods and statistics learned in the first quarter in the design and implementation of a research project. Continued study and application of statistical software will be used as well. Students will design research projects, collect and analyze data, and prepare a written report following the format of the publication manual of the American Psychological Association. Prerequisite: PSYC 205 and 303 with C or better. Majors only.
*The two courses, PSYC 303 and 305, are components of a single 10-credit course. Both must be completed with a C or above to satisfy any requirement. Students are allowed to re-take any section of Statistics I or II which they fail a maximum of three times. If a student takes and fails any section of Statistics I or II for a third time they will be dismissed from the major.
