CPSC 308 - Technical Communication and Project Management

3 credit hours
Communication and project management skills for computing professionals. Writing, speaking, teamwork, electronic communication and structure and content of software documentation. Planning, cost estimation, scheduling, and managing risks, quality and change. CS Majors are to take this course concurrently with CPSC 487 or 486, the first quarter of the capstone software project course. Prerequisite: ENGL 110, a C (2.00) or better in CPSC 250, and permission of chair. (fall)
