STMM 508 - Deacon Studies II

Orientation, 10 weekends which include prayer, lecture, discussion, and liturgy. Topics covered: Hebrew and Christian Scriptures, Christology, Ecclesiology, Sacraments, Stages of Faith, Moral Decision Making, Vatican II, Reformation History, Celebrating Sacraments, Homiletics, Cathechesis, Deacon as Minister in the Church. In addition to completing regular monthly assignments, students submit a 10-page synthesis of the year. Prerequisite: STMM 5073
